Message Boards And Free-For-All Pages Are Not Worth The Time And Effort To Gain Targeted Traffic From Them
By Admin | January 4, 2009
You want to try to gain as much qualified traffic from as many different sources online as possible. You may be tempted to try to gain targeted traffic from message boards and free-for-all (FFA) pages.
However, you are likely better off not putting in the effort it would take to make those sources of traffic valuable to your business.
History shows that message boards and free-for-all pages don’t easily give you qualified traffic to your website because there are so many people trying to gain that targeted traffic that they constantly post on those pages, moving the previous posts down the page.
As a result, any advertisement you place on these sites will get moved off so quickly that very few people will see your ad before it goes off the page, and as a result, will lead to very little, if any, targeted traffic to your website.
If that wasn’t bad enough, you open yourself up to the possibility of spammers gaining your email address to send you spam, which will only take more time away from your busy schedule.
At an earlier time on the Internet, internet marketers could use message boards and free-for-all (FFA) sites to advertise their product offers on the Internet, but due to the fact that everyone jumped on the bandwagon and began posting their offers repeatedly, this free method of advertising is considered by most Internet marketers today to not be worth the effort it would take to gain any meaningful targeted traffic from them.
