Article Marketing Is A Great Free Way To Gain Targeted Traffic To Your Website

The old saying goes, “You get what you pay for,” but this doesn’t apply to gaining targeted traffic to your website. While there are effective free ways to gain targeted traffic to your site, there are also several effective free methods to gain targeted traffic to your site. One effective free method is article marketing.
The way to utilize article marketing is to write articles related to your product offer and/or the industry or niche you are catering to. When you write interesting articles related to that niche or industry, people who are interested in that niche or industry will likely take notice of your article and read it through. The key to the success of article marketing is the ability for you to include a link to your product offer web page or your main website at the bottom of the article, usually in a signature file, or section that allows you to write 4-5 lines about you, your business, and/or your product offer.
Being that the reader is interested in the topic you wrote about, and provided he/she was intrigued by your article, will likely follow that link back to your product web page or main website. Since he/she had an initial interest in the related topic you wrote about, that makes him/her targeted traffic that is visiting your website. Provided you gain his/her contact information and follow up with him/her, it’s likely you’ll gain a future sale, and this coming from a free advertising method that only cost you a little bit of time in writing the article and showing it to interested parties online.
